Hand-Carved Wooden Cat Figurine, 8 Breeds in Painted Basswood

Eyes closed, tail up, a tiny smile, and not a care in the world. These carved wooden cats capture that lazy, blissed-out look every cat owner knows. Each one is carved from basswood and painted to match a real cat breed, so you can choose the one that looks most like the cat waiting for you at home.

Eight Cats to Choose From

• Golden British Shorthair: warm, golden-toned and round-faced
• Orange Tabby: bright ginger stripes with a white chest
• British Blue: solid, soft blue-gray
• Tuxedo: classic black and white
• Silver British Shorthair: pale silver with dark markings
• Gray Tabby: gray with darker stripes
• Dark Brown Tabby: rich brown with bold tabby markings
• Calico: patches of orange, black and white

Carved Wood, With Character

Each cat is carved from basswood, a fine-grained wood that woodcarvers favor because it holds detail well. You can still see the small, faceted knife marks across the body, which give each figure a handmade texture that molded plastic can't copy. The fur markings, pink ears and sleepy faces are painted on with acrylic paint. Because each cat is carved and painted individually, no two are exactly alike.

Make It a Scene

The cats look right at home in a mini wooden rocking chair, sold separately, which actually rocks. A small resin side table is also available for building a cozy little reading corner. Double-sided adhesive pads are included, so you can fix the cat firmly onto the chair and it won't slide when it rocks.

Frequently Asked Questions

Will my cat look exactly like the photo?

Very close, but since each cat is carved and painted by hand, small differences in shape, markings and wood grain are normal.

Is the rocking chair included?

No. The rocking chair and side table are sold separately. The adhesive pads that come with the cat let you attach it to the chair.

How do I care for it?

Dust it with a soft, dry cloth. Keep it away from water and direct heat to protect the wood and paint.

Pick the breed that matches your cat and give your desk a sleepy little companion.
