Product description
When your cat leaves fur on everything, this deshedding tool reaches the loose undercoat under the top layer. A fine-toothed stainless steel edge glides through the coat and lifts out the soft, loose fur that regular brushes leave behind. The handle has a rubber grip and a hanging hole. Choose from three blade widths so the tool fits your cat's size.
Please note: use light pressure and short strokes in the direction of fur growth, and don't go over the same area again and again. Stop once you're mostly pulling up topcoat rather than fluffy undercoat. Don't use it on cuts, irritated skin or matted fur, and keep sessions to a few minutes, once or twice a week.
Pick the Right Width
The small 2.3-inch blade suits kittens, small cats and tight spots like the legs and chest. The medium 2.8-inch blade works for most adult cats. The large 4.1-inch blade covers more of the coat at once on big, fluffy cats like Maine Coons and Norwegian Forest Cats. Many owners use it during spring and fall shedding, then follow up with a slicker brush.

Frequently Asked Questions
How often should I use it?
Once or twice a week for a few minutes is enough for most cats. Overuse can thin the topcoat or irritate the skin.
Does it work on long-haired cats?
Yes, but brush out tangles first. Don't use it on mats.
Can I use it on a hairless cat?
No. It's designed for cats with an undercoat.
How do I clean it?
Pull the fur off the blade by hand and wipe the edge with a dry cloth.
