Product description
Some cats want a full playhouse. Others just want a good post to scratch and a high seat to watch from. This small cat tree comes in two styles to cover both. One is a cozy activity tower with a condo, a basket bed and a padded lookout. The other is a clean three-level stand built around sisal-wrapped posts. Both are compact, easy to move and sized for apartments, bedrooms and kittens.
Option A: Hideout Tree
A soft gray tower with something on every level. At the bottom is a roomy condo for private naps. Above it sits a deep basket bed for curling up, plus a step topped with a sisal scratching pad. The padded top perch has raised edges to keep sleepy cats tucked in, and it can be removed if you prefer a lower tree. A pom-pom hangs from the top for batting, and a spare pom-pom is included.
The base is split into two sections you can rotate, so the tree can sit squarely in a corner (about 25.2 x 17.3 in) or stretch along a wall (about 31 x 10.6 in).
- Height: 71.8 cm (28.3 in)
- Top Perch: 37 x 30 cm (14.5 x 11.8 in)
- Basket Bed: 30 cm (11.8 in) across
- Condo: 34 x 27 x 30 cm (13.4 x 10.6 x 11.8 in)
- Sisal Posts: 34 cm and 27.5 cm of scratching surface
- Weight: About 5.7 kg
Option B: Simple Scratching Stand
Three square platforms connected by tall sisal-wrapped posts, available in gray or brown. It's a no-frills design that puts the focus on scratching and climbing, with a wide base for stability and a top platform for lounging.
- Height: 80 cm (31.5 in)
- Base: 40 x 40 cm (15.7 x 15.7 in)
- Middle Platform: 33 x 33 cm (12.9 x 12.9 in)
- Top Platform: 29 x 29 cm (11.4 x 11.4 in)
- Post Sections: 37 cm (14.5 in) each
- Weight: About 5 kg
Which One Suits Your Cat?
Choose the hideout tree if your cat loves enclosed spaces, napping in soft beds or sharing with a sibling. Choose the scratching stand if your cat is mainly a scratcher and climber, or if you want a simple, minimal piece that blends in.
Small Footprint, Easy to Move
Both styles are light enough to carry from the living room to the bedroom, so your cat can stay close to you. Their moderate height makes it easy to play with your cat from the sofa or bedside.
A Note on Stability
The hideout tree comes with an anti-tip strap for anchoring it to the wall, which is worth using with energetic jumpers. Measurements may vary by 2 to 3 cm.
